Alya is a peaceful awareness center with eco-friendly accommodations, an organic garden, and our own private spring of pure, untouched water, all within the unspoiled tropical heaven of Costa Rica.
We share with our guests the years of our experience and knowledge in a variety of workshops, retreats and educational a programs. We offer: yoga and meditation, silent retreats, time of awareness, healthy nutrition, body-mind cleansing, sustainable living, teacher's training, time for self inquiry and commune life. We also offer our sweat lodge / tamascal, swimming at the near picturesque beach of San Juanillo, dipping at the nearby Rosario river, horseback riding, canopy tours, turtle hatching watch, and more. Also available to our guests are treatments such as Shiatsu, Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua-Sha), Reflexology, Acupressure, Reiki, Ayurvedic treatments, Healthy life and Nutritional Counseling and Detox programs. Our intention at Alya Retreat Center is to allow your retreats, workshops and training to be an intimate, deeply nurturing and unforgettable experience, as well as inspiring and relaxing. Alya Retreat Center is secluded, yet accessible, we are only two hours drive from Liberia's International airport, which has frequent daily flights from the United States and Canada.
